FORT WORTH, Texas (December 10, 2015) – More than 200 toys and 100 bicycles were collected at the third annual holiday luncheon and toy drive hosted by American Aero FTW, a private aviation terminal at Meacham International Airport. The event benefits the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. American Aero FTW employees, airport tenants and clients as well as area fire fighters and police officers attended the festivities.

Each year, Toys for Tots requests new, unwrapped toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.

“This has grown to be a wonderful event with our airport neighbors and friends as we celebrate the holidays by giving back to our local community,” said Riggs Brown, American Aero FTW general manager. “American Aero FTW is honored to be a member of this generous aviation community.”

The Toys for Tots program benefits about 150,000 children throughout Tarrant and surrounding North Texas counties.

“We are thrilled to be part of this American Aero FTW event each year,” said Staff Sgt. Jacob S. Hearen. “The generosity of the employees and clients at Meacham International Airport will enable us to bring a message of hope to many underprivileged children this holiday season.”
