American Aero FTW Reimagining the FBO Experience

When American Aero FTW owners set about designing a new FBO at Meacham International Airport, they had one goal – create an entirely new experience for pilots, flight crews, and passengers. Behind that vision stands a passion for raising industry safety standards, enhancing the delivery of service, and supporting the future of private aviation.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (October, 2017) / BUSINESS AIR PRESENTS FBO TODAY – The result is an architecturally stunning new facility, with a soaring lobby ceiling set off by an ethereal artist sculpture. Design elements in the main space include enhanced sound-masking, and intelligent, electrochromic windows that reduce heat and glare while maximizing natural light, offering unobstructed views of the Texas skyline. The FBO also boasts three luxurious passenger lobbies, two pilot lounges, a sound-proof sleep room, a well-equipped kitchen, and two conference rooms.

American Aero FTW leads the industry in safety, as the first FBO in the Western Hemisphere to become IS-BAH certified in 2015 and one of the first in the country to earn Stage II in 2017.

“We are on the cutting edge of safety and service for private aviation – on purpose,” said Bob Agostino, vice president of American Aero FTW. “We are focused on the future, anticipating and designing our facilities, services, and amenities to meet the needs of the pilots and passengers of today – and tomorrow.”

For pilots, that includes 11 acres of open ramp (the largest on the field) and the ability to service any sized private aircraft. Discriminating business passengers experience five-star service and safety at every FBO touchpoint.

“American Aero continuously strives to enhance the customer experience, by fostering an environment that encourages innovation, which is necessary for success in an ever-evolving industry,” said Riggs Brown, general manager. “From Wi-Fi on the ramp to solar- powered safety cones, we are always finding new ways deliver exceptional safety and service.”

The investment made by American Aero FTW also extends beyond its own doors. FBO owners are playing a major role in the revitalization of Meacham International Airport, by supporting the development and enhancement of both the airport and surrounding community. American Aero FTW is reimagining the FBO experience and creating a new model for the delivering of ground handling services — raising the bar for an industry that is the very backbone of private aviation.
