I’m based at Abilene Regional Airport (ABI) Texas and flew into Meacham International Airport on Wednesday September 28 2016. I own a 1960 classic Cessna C150 Fastback polished aluminum with two tone green, knicknamed “The Turtle”. I hadn’t flown into Meacham to full stop and use services, though I had flown into FTW many times in the early 90’s. I was just on a 120nm hop in “The Turtle” from Abilene to see my teenage daughter. I saw the big American Aero sign on the FBO and told Meacham Ground “request Taxi to American Aero”. I felt a bit out of place taxiing up to the ramp, with a Gulfstream, Falcon and Phenom Jet near where I was being waived to park. I was promptly greeted by three employees, smiling and happy to have even a tiny gas sipping C150 on their ramp. Very friendly staff, made me feel like I was in a Cessna Citation. They waived my landing fee even with my measily 9 gallon fuel purchase. Offered to shuttle me to my destination and offered a crew car. I was very impressed with the staff and service, thanks for letting a little 150 driver feel like a fighter pilot lol.
The Service was simply fantastic! Awesome personnel at the front desk and ramp.

I would like to speak directly to the owner and you about my recent experience at American Aero KFTW. More often than not, owners will not pay for and flight department managers will not support safety. They will in professional social situations vocalize and bluster about their commitment, but ask the janitor cleaning the toilets, and lowest level line service man and you will always learn the true level of commitment.
Perfectly maintained and the cleanest fuel trucks I have ever seen.
This requires a commitment of time, money, effort, labor and planning. This was the first thing I noticed about your operation, along with line service that is bright, aware, not lost, makes eye contact with strong verbal skills conveying understanding.

You have spent time, money, and effort in training your CSRs. You have mastered two critical concepts, anticipating needs, and a sense of urgency. I was blown away when I was approached with kindness and warmth by Jackie and not across the counter. She took the time to walk around and greet me at the front door! By subtle observation of the rental car contract in my left hand. She introduced herself with a handshake and asked if she could get me a receipt for my rental car! She immediately set the tone for the rest of my business and interaction.
Sense of Urgency in providing service and how it contributes to safety
Before I was even aware of it, every task was complete in the arrival and pre departure process. All services, all payments and receipts, flight attendant needs, safety and security of our aircraft, everything. . . I found myself with time to look deeper into my next flight leg by again checking for latest notams, weather, performance, and even time for another physical walk around of my aircraft.
Money spent on keeping a fuel truck maintained and clean, spending money on training and supporting your line service and CSR’s, ACTING on and believing to your core the most important person in an organization is who you need in the moment. If the bathrooms need cleaning the most important person contributing to the success of your business is the janitor and not the CEO. . . . . . . Really want to hit it out of the park? Have the CEO get out of the office and help the janitor clean. Management does not have to say one word or attend one leadership class. Simply act, support, and spend a little bit of time every day doing every level of work in the company. Make every employee personally known to management by direct interaction.
Aviation for me is a lifelong love affair. I am an educator and personally fulfilled by the professional accomplishment and success of others. Thank you for investing the money, time, and in the people required to operate at a high level of safety. Far too many “impressive and visible high level organizations” only pay lip service to these concepts and principles.
Keep those fuel trucks maintained and spotless. It speaks volumes to how you value your people and customers.

Always top notch service, We are here at least once a month and could not be more pleased with the service. Here is a great example. We were here on an overnight, went to leave the hotel and discovered i had left the lights on on the rental car overnight, battery was dead obviously. I called american aero to see if they could help. They sent line service right over to the hotel a few miles away with jumper cables and we were on our way. Just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know the level of service that this facility provides. AMAZING!!
Being a base tenant with Signature Flight Support in Austin, TX (KAUS), the level of service provided at FTW, is some of the best in the industry!! Upon arrival, there where a total of 5 employees that greeted us, 2 of which came from inside. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and truly wanted to help make out stay as nice as possible. Our fuel order was attended to as soon as it was ordered, Coffee, Ice, and Papers were offered, and they truly wanted to help with anything else they possible could!! The facility was very clean and well appointed with reasonable prices and landing fees! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant!!
In my opinion, more Signature locations should follow lead from the staff here as there is no comparison with multiple Signature locations I have traveled too!! Being the Chief Pilot for our flight department, I can guarantee that all of our aircrafts will be visiting this location anytime they come to FTW!!

I was the operating Captain of American flight 261 on 26 June. Due to weather at DFW, we diverted to FTW with minimal fuel and no prior notice. As we parked I notice 3 of your employees with wands directing us to park and then standing by to see what we required in the way of servicing. I was talking to my dispatch in order to notify them as to our situation, so it took a minute or two for me to realize your people were waiting for me to let them know what we needed. And by the way they were standing patiently in the rain waiting for me to decide. This was the start of an unusual experience that was make a real non-event due to the professionalism of you dedicated employees. We could not have gotten better help and support! As soon as I knew our fuel requirement the guys were pumping it onboard. Meagan coordinated the many faxes and printed emails from the company. Sandy and Meagan coordinated transportation and directions for the 40 passengers that chose to deplane and be picked up there. Heath made sure to coordinate with me on start up signals and how I would be directed out of parking. Paul and Kenvin seemed to be everywhere at once to move the airstairs, fuel and marshall us in and out. Sandy made 300 trips to and from the airplane to attended and coordinate the many details of our diversion.
Your entire crew was awesome. Please thank them for me and my crew. Great teamwork and fantastic support. I greatly appreciate all you guys did for us.

Just a quick thank you for the kindness, warmth, and professionalism shown us at American Aero. We had not planned on landing in Fort Worth last weekend, but due to weather, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our weekend. From the time we were cleared to land by the tower to the time we took off Sunday afternoon, we were met with true southern hospitality .
We were in a somewhat distressed situation and were met by Trevor upon taxiing to your FBO , and completely taken care of. Hand delivered to restroom (which was the top priority at the time) and when we mentioned a rental car we were graciously offered a courtesy car.
Our plan was to take off Sunday morning to return to Houston, once again due to weather we had to stay put for a while. We called your front desk and informed them of our plans and were again greeted with assurance everything would be taken care of, even great breakfast recommendation! When we returned to American Aero to wait out weather, we spent a perfectly enjoyable afternoon with your staff who made sure every need was met.
Please know how much we appreciate all. You have a warm, inviting FBO and staff. Cannot wait to visit again!

We are small construction company with one aircraft, We have been using American Aero since Feb 2015. The service has been fantastic and consistent on every trip. a lot of stops are drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening as quick turns. They have always been just that, quick turns. On Sunday afternoon while in route to Chicago we made a stop in Fort Worth to drop one passenger off. On arrival we ended up with a mechanical problem which downed the aircraft. We notified the company and replacement aircraft was sent to pick up our passengers. However there was going to be an hour delay. Two of your employees Sandy and Kevin were just incredible! Kevin helped us with the large amount of bags that we needed to unload and reload in the replacement aircraft. Sandy took our passengers inside your FBO along with their catering and made sure they were comfortable and served them their catering. I have never had such great service in the 20 years I’ve been involved in corporate aviation. If a business can be judged by its employees you have a five star FBO!

I wanted to give a huge THANKS to the Meacham International Airport Team…This team really works together to provide a great customer experience. After visiting our son in Fort Worth, TX. during Christmas,we were flying back to MO. Homeward bound. We discovered our airplane is really cold natured. The team at Meacham airport put a plan into action for us. Sandy(air concierge) went to the store and bought a space heater, and the team at Meacham went to work. They told us to take a car and go have another lunch with my son while the plane was getting warm. Upon returning, the plane started and we were off.
The team also provided great customer service and food. We will defiantly be back.

We routinely use American Aero to pick up and drop off our card members and charter clients. Everyone is always very professional and super friendly. The line guys are there when you need them and don’t leave you waiting around. The CSRs are always cheerful and welcoming and they take really good care of the passengers. The ramp is in a great location with easy access. All in all, American Aero is a great FBO with a great staff and every time I’m scheduled in or out I know it’s going to be a great experience.
